On our two-year anniversary we decided to take a trip up to Vermont for relaxation in the snow. 
We drove up on Thursday, rented some snow shoes, stayed in an old inn, ate at a diner called "Dot's" and spent the evening in front of the fire playing Boggle. The next day we tried out some cross country skiing. Here we are on our snowshoeing trek. Brendan is faking falling down in the snowshoes, because they really are not that difficult. But Kathy is triumphantly raising her ski poles because on the ice-covered snow, it was pretty grueling for a first-time x-country skiier to go anywhere without falling over, especially on those treacherous hills! I survived!

Weird! Jeff and I spent our 2nd year wedding anniversary in Vermont. We ate at the Skyline Inn atop a mountain and skied as well. Good karma! --Katie
